Is it still fan fiction if it's written by the same author? It was an idea I had that I thought was rather pointless because of something else and perhaps too sappy, so consider this a lost scene

Apocalypse has fallen on a once peaceful land, and the fated hero of the world has gone missing. A young person finds themselves in a small chamber, supposedly waking from a long nap. They don't know where they are, or even who they are. But apparently, everyone around them knows who they are. They are the hero and must save the world, or at least what is left of it. Their journey to save the world, along with trying to find their lost memories of their loved ones, is one filled with wonder and exploration. Join them on this quest in this strange new world. (Also yes, this is technically a BOTW fanfic but is an entirely separate world. Still follows a similar structure though)
