Based on the movie A Monster in Paris, Francoeur is ashamed of himself. A flea isn't able to do much for society, and he wants to be human badly, so he'll fit in with Lucille. As they say, be careful what you wish for. (The first chapters have some minor gore-ish themes, so beware. Human!Francoeur AU in later chapters.)

The rumors might have subsided but the story continues. Odette Dessina's mother had past away and left her with the legacy of being the Fairy of the Garden. Her stage name suits her as she sings at her families nightclub Le Jardin Enchante (The Enchanted Garden). Her cousin also pursued the same career as The Angel of her Cabernet (The Rare Bird). Reunited with Lucille, Odette also meets her cousins mysterious music partner. Odette cant help but befriend him and also Lucille's other fiends she's made in the past months. But soon Odette realizes that the mystery man is someone she knows but never met. Odette gets very close to him but discovers she is now involved with the rumored Monster of Paris.

But things get in the way that Francoeur can not understand. His overflowing emotions for Odette puts his mind in a spin. He learns many new things about humans and these strange new emotions that he is rather embarrassed about feeling.
