Mark Gernarg is a part of the WW2 air force squadron Slashcat, or squad 110. He and his squad, all flying F-86 Sabres, They will do many things together but will they all make it home together? Find out! Remember this book is a fiction and is not supposed to represent almost EVERYTHING that happened in WW2. Any actual WW2 veteran names mentioned in this fiction is purely coincidental. Please enjoy this book. I am very aware that the F-86 Sabre was around during the Korean war but in my story there was a less capable version of it and story of Mark's first person perspective will mention it a lot.

In a post-apocalyptic world infused with elements of rebirth and unique spatial abilities, Watson, known as the Void King, survives through unmatched perseverance. He outlasts all other survivors, leaving a world inhabited only by monsters and no other humans. Finding life meaningless, Watson chooses to bury himself, not out of inability to survive, but a lack of desire to continue living. To his surprise, he wakes up to find himself reborn a month before the apocalypse. "Mr. Watson, your order of one hundred fried chicken family buckets has arrived." "Mr. Watson, your reservation of one hundred portions of roast duck is here." "Mr. Watson, the ten thousand tons of pork you ordered have been delivered." Faced with a second chance, Watson prepares for the impending doom, stockpiling supplies and gearing up to establish his power in this new timeline, determined to make different choices.

This poem was inspired by Charles Bukowski's poem "Cold Summer'. It is taking the same observational perspective of the time we have left. The thing that is more precious than gold or any other monetary value we place on physical items. Time is something we are gifted with but we don't know how much of it we have, but we seem to do a great job wasting a lot of it.
