Spoilers, something stops them, leaving Marcy's world turned upside-down as she teams up with her ex-friend Sasha Waybright, and learns more about her family history, all the way back to the beginning.

Sasha and Marcy have been working at the local Halloween store for the past two years, but this year is different. They're in their first semester of college and have a new coworker Anne Boonchuy. As trouble arises and secrets are revealed, one question remains- What is to be the true destiny of the three human girls?Are they the ones that finally unite all of Amphibia?Or are they to be the ones that bring calamity upon the land and cause the destruction of Amphibia? Basically it's based off of the 'Monster Falls' au's in a way. In this AU, 'Toadcatcher' takes place during the time where Marcy, Anne and the Plantars are travelling to the temples (they don't ride Joe Sparrow for plot reasons) and have made a pit stop near the town where Sasha, Grime, Braddock and Percy are hiding in. There's a river near there which is labelled as 'cursed' by Newtopians and the townsfolk.

In this AU Marcy's family never moved but they still ended up in Amphibia, after defeating the core It seemed they wouldn't be able to travel to other worlds ever again however 10 years later the guardian summons them alongside Sprig & Polly to become Protectors of the multiverse as a new threat has risen up against the world of Amphibia one of the worlds andria's family conquered centuries prior Now the Calamity Trio alongside Polly & Sprig reunite with the adventure of a lifetime
