WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION There are imperfect moments in every life-but sometimes, there are perfect accidents . . . What's the point of pretending nothing has changed when everything has? It's the last summer before college, and Jonas Avery knows he should be excited. Instead, he hides out at home, avoiding his friends, his family, and everything that resembles his old life. Because nothing will be normal again-because of The Accident, when everything started falling apart. Brennan Davis knows she needs to stand up and face her anxiety-the deep, dark, debilitating dread that rules her everyday life. Because what stops her from going out into the world and just living is going to get a whole lot worse. She's leaving for college in the fall, where she'll be confronted with even more to worry about. To get back up sometimes you have to fall down, hard . . . When Jonas crashes into Brennan-in a harmless, albeit embarrassing fender bender-the two teens connect in ways they never expected. As friends, they help each other overcome their biggest falls and faults, and soon discover that while love can't fix everything, it's sometimes a place to start. Sensitive, wry, and unabashedly authentic, The Opposite of Falling Apart isn't about finding perfection in another person or fixing the things we think are broken. Instead, Micah Good has penned an enchantingly honest novel about accepting the very pieces of ourselves that make us unique, whole, and undeniably human.

Yes, Another Reincarnation! Kilian woke up in a white room. Blank, empty, emotionless white room. Kilian checks himself and recognizes his disembodiment, his body was currently a big white blob though he could feel his limbs moving with him.. well his remaining limbs. Kilian got up and floated around before being stopped by a voice. "young man, I would like to apologize for your life," a booming voice, echoing off each wall. Kilian almost panics, finding no 'body' to go with the voice. That's when a skeletal man appears alongside an older woman who looks at peace with life, neither happy nor sad. "Hello?" Kilian questions as he calms internally after seeing two 'physical' beings, not that he could touch him, though his phantom muscles make it seem otherwise. "Welcome to the afterlife, my child, I am what most perceive as God.." The woman declared, the skeletal figure remains unmoving and cold. "I thought you were-" Kai stopped himself, not knowing if what he was going to say was offensive or not. God chuckles and waves it off, saying, "don't fret, I appear as how one may feel the most comfortable with, as does my partner here.." God gestures to the figure besides her. The skeleton nods before speaking in the first bellowing voice. "Young man, your life wasn't supposed to end the way it did.. an amputee and the victim of a hate crime.. I severely apologize for our neglect.." Kilian comes to terms quite fast, his previous life was not the best as the skeletal figure he comes to recognize as Death, had mentioned. "So what next? tell me it's not just me in this plain white room.." Kilian pleads with his non-existent hand? nevermind that..

Everest Bloom-Makarov had everything one could imagine-the perfect life, so to speak. He was the starting goaltender for the St. Vincent Eagles, a well-known preparatory school for athletically gifted students, with a guaranteed path to play professionally. He had the perfect parents: his dad, Ivan Makarov, the infamous Hockey Hall of Famer, and his mom, Ismeri Bloom, one of the most successful real estate developers in the world. What people didn't know, though, was that nothing was as it seemed. For Adrian Rodriguez, life was the exact opposite. If anything, he was the unluckiest person alive. From the moment he turned fourteen, everything that could go wrong did. Cancer. Chemo. Surgery after surgery. And just when he thought he was finally in the clear, he found himself in the hospital again. This time, the cancer was back to take everything. It was time he faced the truth: he was never going to become anything, much less the pilot he once dreamed of being. Two strangers. Two completely different paths. One act of fate that brings them together.

I sat up in the hospital bed. I looked around and spotted my parents. "Mum... Dad.. Why are we here?" I tilted my head. They glanced at eachother and then hesitantly turned their heads to me, "You haven't noticed yet?". I was already confused. Just as I brought my arms up to my eyes to wipe some sleep from them, it then hit me as I struggled to reach my face. Where are my arms? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ No pictures belong to me unless specified. WARNING: Gore and homophobic language

On a remote, desolate Scottish hillside, a climber lays trapped under a boulder. A simple decision to turn left rather than right has devastating consequences for the rest of her life. On her journey of recovery, she makes the most unbearably tough decision and can only carry on as her mind shatters like glass inside her. But in the midst of tragedy, there is still life to continue and with it just a touch of the darkest humour. Brutally honest and undeniable compelling, this story will take you from the depths of ketamine-holes and the heights of helicopter rescues - a story that follows the inner-workings of the NHS from a patient's point of view and one woman's struggle to get back all she has lost. This is the blurred line between being lucky and being unlucky. This is my story. Almost all of this story was written contemporary to the time the events occurred. I haven't gone back to read or edit them and I'm not sure I intend to. I'm not sure I could ever build up the courage to read them again and so these chapters are somewhat like a diary from the time - perhaps some of them make sense, perhaps some of them don't. In either case, I hope you enjoy!

(This story was inspired by true events. I hope you enjoy it!) Sixteen-year-old Emersyn Moore spends her summer days working part-time in a book store, enjoying her next read, and hanging out with her best friend, Brianna. She also spends a lot of time admiring Brianna's older brother, Kaden, who has made it clear that he sees Emersyn as nothing more than a sister. Emersyn concedes to her sisterly role, keeping her feelings to herself, as well as the fantasies she knows will never become reality. However, when Kaden is involved in a disabling accident everything changes, including their relationship. Will it tear them apart, making her long for the sisterly role she'd always despised? Or will this life-altering experience bring them closer together, forcing Kaden to see her in a new light? Only time will tell. Time. They say it will heal all wounds, but Emersyn knows that's a lie. Some wounds never heal, which is evident every time she looks at Kaden. Copyright © by Janae Mitchell. All rights reserved.
