Little Men is the sequel to Little Women. Louisa May Alcott always seemed to have griefed that she didn't have children of her own, which is something she gave to Jo. Both Jo and Friedrich love children and they love being parents. The 19th century was a time when childhood for the first time became something that people started to appreciate as something important and valuable.

Laurie had proposed to Jo March in the thoughts of being in love with her, only to be heartbroken when she refuses. Much later, he runs into Amy March, Jo's sister, by chance in Europe. This story goes from there and tells the story of how they fell in love.

Honestly I used to ship Jo and Laurie but then I saw the 2019 version of Little Women and I fell in love with Amy and Laurie and realized that these two are perfect together. They compliment each other so well and they're so adorable tbh Laurie and Jo would never work they're only meant to be best friends so I made this story because of how underrated Amy and Laurie are.

What if Laurie didn't love Jo? What if all along since childhood it was Amy? Would they confess their love sooner? How does Jo feel about it? Does she actually have feelings for him? This story is based of the Greta Gerwig movie adaptation and partially the book and I also have made Laurie and Jo two years older than Amy instead of three because I want their love story to start earlier and three year age gap seemed to big for what age I plan for it to start. I really do love this ship and Jo and Laurie just is a no. So sorry to any Jo and Laurie shippers this isn't for you. (You can still read it tho I really don't care.)
