They don't get along well at first due to (Y/N) dealing with the death of her family, being disowned by the rest, moving someplace new, and starting at a new school. It's a lot to take in. Eventually they start to get used to each other. Mark will have to deal with raising a teen: making sure she isn't in trouble, dealing with the mood swings, helping with homework, getting yelled at for making fun of her crushes, and even being confused as what to do when she's on her period. Oh, what fun.
