Sometimes things end quietly without any screaming, any crying, or any broken dishes scattered all over the floor. The quiet things hurt so much more than burning all your picture perfect memories in flames that in return will only be in ashes. Because when you and the boy that you loved for the past two years are about to burn to the ground, you can try to put it out and you'll get a chance to save yourselves. But when things just sort of fizzle out and love disappears like a little leak in the basement, there’s nothing you can do to stop it. Elise Manhattan, is an ordinary ninetine-year old nerd from Harvard University (Yes by nerd I mean the ideal nerd who prefers books than nightclubs like collegiates usually do). Xander Merkeley, on the other hand, is your boy-next-door kind of guy. As the both of them are batchmates, their worlds turned a lot more different when they graduated.

Nothing lasts forever. Not people, not money, not love; nothing. Eventually everything on planet Earth will be completely demolished. Nothing will survive, and there's nothing we can do to prevent it. All of the memories will be forgotten. All of the wars we battled will be erased from history, because there will be no history. It will start from scratch, and all of it will disappear. Everything we've achieved and worked so hard for will cease to exist. Earth will start over like it does every millennium. I mean, I would know. I've lived through it before.
