This story takes place seven years after the events of ROTS. Padmé has survived childbirth and lives in secrecy on Naboo with her family. Luke and Leia are slowly growing up and are questioning the identity of their father, as well as what happened to him. The ex-senator is doing everything in her power to protect them from the truth, and from the dark power of the Galactic Empire and the Sith. But everything changes when the evil Darth Sidious's terrible apprentice named Darth Vader comes to the planet.

As the Clone Wars worsen, Anakin and Aniya struggle with the aftermath of losing their Padawans. Elsewhere in the galaxy, Ahsoka and Alema search for a new path outside the Order, one which may end up leading them back to the masters' sides. Meanwhile, Qui-Gon finds himself questioning what it truly means to be a Jedi.

"Anakin, you can't just leave everything you stood for behind!" I yell. "Padmé, I'm not Anakin anymore! I'm Darth Vader!" Vader replies. I'm hurt but quickly changes my expression to look stern. "You need to stop running." - What if it was different? What if Darth Vader won on Mustafar, and his wife doesn't die in childbirth? Would he be ever saved from the dark side? - This is roughly inspired by the Fanfiction "Prisoner (a short story)" (it's a great story if you haven't read it). By roughly, I mean that I changed the storyline a lot, and I made it so the characters acted more like how I expect they would cononically. I only took the brief outline of the plot. Dear Journal... My name is Anakin, Anakin Skywalker i'm 13 years old...... This Journal is something that will last until the last Skywalker... I do not own the characters! I tried to fit some scenarios I imagined in the real story I'll finish it as soon as possible.

But herself? Would he really? Maybe not then. But now, he might. "I- don't know how to tell you this, but I never want to go back. I love you too much." Padmé's voice was shaky, but he stared deep into her eyes, unable to find the detection of a lie. "I know, my love." (Unwritten excerpt. Written with concept rather than quoted) ~ Anakin fears Padmé's death now more than ever. Unknowingly, he is being tempted by the dark side, as he suffers horrible dreams about her death. Anakin is going to be Padme's Jedi bodyguard during a week of treaty meetings aboard the Calrissians' romantic space cruise ship, the Love Commander. What could possibly go wrong? Since Anakin is a Skywalker, just about anything could happen, starting with Obi-Wan arranging for Ahsoka, Rex and several other Clones to join the cruise. Note: I do not own Star Wars, of course!
