shade-narkuma
It drifts where molten shadows swim,
A blur of shape, a watching limb-
The burden of all sins made whole,
A nightmare carved from a broken soul.
Once it walked in heaven's glow,
A friend to one who'd later throw
Its name into the deepest pit
For immortality's cold counterfeit.
From that fall, it learned to stalk-
And every sinner learned to walk
With trembling steps and darting eyes.
For centuries, beneath red skies,
Hellborn and damned have met their end
To something they cannot comprehend.
No screams, no clash-just sudden lack,
A silence where none ever come back.
Lucifer feels its presence first;
His guilt has always made it worse.
He swears it moves behind the flame,
He hears it whisper through his name.
He hides in halls where fire bends,
Afraid to face his oldest friend.
And you-who caught its shape so near-
Have brushed the edge of what all fear.
