It is August 1987 and Ricardo "Ricky" Villalobos is 15 years old and from Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico. Ricky is the eldest of two kids, and has a younger sister named Lorena. Reeling from the loss of his mother, Ana Laura, months earlier, Ricky looks to love as means to heal his broken heart, and meets small town girl Ana Adriana Moreno, who is looking for a modeling job to make money for her single parent family. After losing her father almost 9 years earlier in a car crash, Ana is sent to San Juan, the capital, to find a modeling job to afford the costs of her long-awaited quinceañera, which is in two months. Ana then meets a tall, handsome guy from Santurce who also happened to be son on her dad's former boss. What will the unpredictable future hold for Ricky and Ana Adriana?
