In Greek philosophy, particularly in Plato's work, anamnesis means that one doesn't learn anything new... but rather remembers what one's soul already knew. Two people feel they have met before... but don't know where, as if their souls were connected in another world. A love not born of the moment... but a memory brought back to life.

After narrowly escaping being trafficked Wren has no recollection of her past life. All she is able to remember was the day she awoke in a jail cell and found herself being escorted to a room. ** Constantly being in hiding, Wren and her friends fight to evade the men that had been sent to bring them back. But when they find out Wren was not in line to be trafficked but in line for something much bigger, everything changes. ------- This is my attempt to revive an idea/book, I had two years ago but gave up on. Enjoy.

Dark things swarm around the city. Newspaper-boys are lured into houses, strange mansions whisper into musicians' ears, old men tell tales of vampires, drums boom in the Savannah, children worship false gods and priests begin to question the very foundations of the universe. And all this has something to do with a girl who has no name and a cat whose name nobody knows. A dark, surreal adventure, this book is my flawed tribute to weird-fiction and the writers who made me. The forefront of his misery, known only as 'the creator', chose his victims unbiasedly. Men, women, and children were cast into the realm and given a single goal to focus on. They are to locate him in Leifhelm and defeat him in warfare, though his reasons are unclear. Their incentive is a most lucrative prize: A wish that he will grant without stipulation or limitations. He claims that the wish will be granted to the most valiant individual. This prize becomes unobtainable for some and a catalyst of corruption for others, as each person possesses their own desires they wish to see fulfilled. Leviathan is no exception, as he uses magic and controversial methods to achieve his ends. Still, having dabbled in dark magic, he now faces the consequences, as it begins to take a toll on his body. An eternal love. A fatal hour. A secret only time dares to remember. He wakes up every day knowing she will die. She smiles, unaware that their love is living on borrowed time. And somewhere, in the silence between ticking seconds, the hour bends-again. Trapped in a beautiful nightmare, he relives their love story over and over, each time hoping this is the one she survives. But the universe has its own cruel rhythm, and time isn't just repeating-it's hiding something. As the days rewind and her fate remains unchanged, one question haunts him: What did he forget the first time? A haunting, poetic tale about the weight of memory, the ache of what-ifs, and the way love can echo through the fractures of time. Perfect for readers who believe that some hearts are meant to break... again and again.
