All reveled in the outcome of this battle, which came to be known as the Day of Unity. Peace and harmony was possible at last. Gone were the days of living in fear. Gone were the days of the powerless cowering before the powerful. And gone were the most villainous prodigies in the world: the Anarchists. The fearsome villain gang that once brought about the Age of Anarchy had been eradicated. Never again would a supervillain take the Anarchist title and raise havoc and destruction again... or so the world thought. Not all rejoiced. Not all celebrated. Not all enjoyed a life of amity in this new era. Corruption and greed are still ever present in every life. Systems and people viewed to be perfect are not always what they seem. Underneath the catacombs during the battle of Gatlon, Simon finds a little girl, who runs away into the tunnels. A few weeks later, Nova goes back to the Cathedral and meets a little boy with the prodigy ability to make her see hope. A year later, the Renegades find a child in the subway tunnels with the Anarchists. And nine years after that, when a new Super villain shows up, the Renegades know exactly what is going on. Somewhere, Northwest, 1951 Sue Lee could smell gasoline; apparently, they stopped for fuel. She was about to shout when she heard the creaking sound of the trailer door opening. "Dammit, he must have a set of extra ears. He's going to use that blasted peek hole again." She quickly tore a piece of her blouse, shoving it down the hole, watching it drop onto the pavement before rolling back into bed, moaning to cover up her movements, hoping he would assume she was still in a drug-induced state. Sue Lee's head was turned toward the wall but could see a small circle of light from the peek hole when he opened it. "Come in here, you bastard, I will kill you." The peek hole light went out. In a short time, they were moving again. They seem to be driving endlessly. "When did he sleep? Dammit, at this rate, I'll run out of clothing." She looked again where he must have torn her blouse, carrying her into the trailer. Tearing it once more, she shoved another piece of clothing through the hole, hoping to leave a trail. "Maybe I should leave something more provocative, but I need my bra to choke the bastard."

I was reading Supernova (it destroyed me btw) and decided to do some more Renegades stuff so here ya go. Once again none of these are mine, I found most of them on tumblr. Hope you laugh at least slightly while reading, forcefully exhaling air through your nose works too. Spoiler warning for all 3 books and there might be a few swear words here and there
