Anya couldn't remember a single thing about her past. All she could remember was the echoes of a lullaby, a firm hand in hers and a terrible fear of guns lodged in her mind. For a young girl in St. Petersburg in 1927, that wasn't a lot. With the strengthening grip of the Bolsheviks on Russia's freedom and fear around every corner, Anya is determinded to escape. All she needs to do is get to Paris... Dimitri's life had never been easy. From the first day he could walk he had been stealing bread off the streets, selling stolen watches and jewellery on the Nevsky Prospect, just to help him get by. He had raised himself and learnt to never trust anyone, especially now that his home was under the iron fist of Communism. But with a rumor in St. Petersburg floating around and a reward of 10 million rubles on the other side of Europe, Dimitri has a plan. All he needs to do is to get to Paris... A combination of the musical and movie adaptations of the rumors and mysteries that surrounded the Grand Duchess Anastasia Romanov in the 20th century.

Anastasia Romanov, (more commonly known as Anya) and her husband Dmitry have finally found peace. They have a comfortable, care free life in Paris, and are proud to be raising two beautiful children. And most importantly, they are free. Yes, life is good. But not in Europe. No, not in Europe, because World War ll is raging, and before long, it's reached Paris. Suddenly life is filled with uncertainty and terror. Suddenly Paris is a lot more like Russia. And for Anya, this means giving up everything in hope that one day, the war will end.

Dmitry goes to Hogwarts with two goals in mind: get good grades, and stay away from Slytherins. He only manages to accomplish one of them.

In another life, this never would have happened. If things had gone the way they should have gone, Anya would be Anastasia. She'd be a full blown princess, and Dmitry would still be a smuggler, and the rebellion would be nothing but a dream.

Anya is so drawn to Dasha but she doesn't know why. Haunted by dreams she can't explain and chased by those who fear the truth, Anya's journey takes her from the streets of St. Petersburg to the grand halls of Paris. With help from unexpected allies and whispers of royalty in her blood, she must decide: Is she just a girl with no name - or the last hope of a lost empire? And who is Dasha?

Memories are a fickle thing, and, unfortunately, Anya has none. She knows nothing other than the hospital she lives and works at, the little information the nurses give her about her past, and her dreams. And so Anya lives in her small little world until, one day, she discovers that she might just find out what it all means after all.

Inspired by the hit musical: Anastasia A really short and cute and kinda sad fanfiction of D'mitry and Anastasia. This story takes place right after the end of Anastasia, where we left off with Anastasia and D'mitry running away together. They live a happy little life but that damn bastard Gleb gets in the way of everything. The worst part is that Gleb's madly in love with Anya.

Anya met Dmitri at the bridge, she caught him before he left. But an uncalled for disaster messes up all of the problems they had just solved. (Aka I reworked the final scene and once that's solved it's just a bunch of adorable Dimya fluff)
