Bree and Steve Rogers are in for a huge surprise. (Star Mistress and Captain America) Bucky Barnes and Alec Anders are alive, brainwashed to work for Hydra. (Winter Soldier and Dark Shadow.) Bucky is Bree's fiance. Steve, Bucky and Alec had been best friends during World War II. Nick Fury and the Spiders, Natasha, Tatiana and Anastasia Romanoff (Black Widow, Tarantula and Arachne) come to deal with Hydra, along with the help of Steve and Bree. Bree and Steve are willing to do anything to free and save Bucky and Alec from Hydra's control. But can they actually do it?

Bree Rogers is just a girl who lost her fiancee. She had been on the brink of death when the super soldier serum had been injected into her. She calls herself Star Mistress. Jax Stark is a Playboy millionaire with a genius mind and father. He built his own suit that makes him a superhero. He calls himself Gold Strike. Anastasia and Tatiana Romanoff are daughters of Natasha and Clint Barton. They go by Arachne and Tarantula, and have the skills of both their parents. Loki comes from Asgard and takes Clint and Tatiana's freedom and work, along with several others from S.H.I.E.L.D. This forces Nick Fury to bring together the team of super soldiers, genius roboticists, assassins, archers, a demigod and a Hulk, all of whom are superheros, to stop him from creating Hell on Earth. Do they have what it takes to save their own and the world?

Bree Rogers is Star Mistress. She's a lot more open, outgoing and funny than she was in the first book of WC Avengers, because she's found out that her fiancee, Bucky Barnes, and Bucky and Steve's best friend, Alec Anders, are alive. Though, Bree and her brother Steve are still looking for them. Jackson "Jax" Stark is Gold Strike. Along with his father Tony, Wanda Maximoff manipulates him into creating Ultron, the super suits that the team now have to face down. Anastasia "Ana" Romanoff is Arachne, one of the three Spiders, an assassination team made up of her, her mother, and her twin sister. Things have escalated between Jax and Ana during their time together, leading them to become a thing. Tatiana Romanoff is Tarantula, the third and final Spider. She may be the heart and soul of the Avengers, but she's also the first to stand up for freedom and free will. The Avengers have to band together to take down Ultron, and even if they do win the battle, what will they lose?

Bree Rogers (Star Mistress) has never wanted anything more than to be with her fiance, Bucky Barnes (Winter Soldier). And she's about to get her wish. When the Avengers are forced with the decision whether or not to sign the Sokovia Accords, it's left the team with a split decision. Zemo, a man with a grudge against the Avengers, is willing to put the lives of Bucky and Alec Anders (Dark Shadow) in jeopardy by setting off a bomb that kills Black Panther's father, framing them. The team is split against the Accords and the safety or destruction of Bucky and Alec. Especially when past secrets become known. It's Steve, Bree, Bucky, Alec, Sam, Clint, Tatiana Romanoff (Tarantula), Wanda and Scott against Tony, Jax Stark (Gold Strike), Ana Romanoff (Arachne), Natasha, Rhodey, T'Challa, Vision and Peter. But no matter who wins, and how, everyone loses.

Tony Stark and his son Jackson "Jax" Stark have just outed themselves as Iron Man and Gold Strike. The world can't seem to let it go, and they're reveling in every moment of it. When Tony realizes that the arc reactor in his chest is slowly killing him, he does not let Jax know, because he had just rebuilt a relationship with his son, and he doesn't want it to change. But when villains are out there aiming to take both the Starks down, a trio of specially trained assassins/fighters called The Spiders come in to help make sure that neither of them die. Mother Natasha Romanoff is known as Black Widow, or her alias in Malibu as Natalie Rushman. Her twin daughters, Anastasia and Tatiana Romanoff, are known as Arachne and Tarantula. They aim to cure Tony of his sickness eventually, with the help of the one and only Nick Fury, who wants Jax to join and even more elite team of superheroes called the Avengers, and also wants to see if Tony can still be useful to them even if he is still dying.
