Blaise Whitemane isn't like his family. Blaise doesn't want to use weapons to fight - he's a magic user. Blaise seeks out companionship at the College of Winterhold but unexpectedly sets off a chain of events while exploring the Nord ruin of Saarthal - events that may or may not lead to destruction, depending on how he deals with it. Along with the pressure of trying to prevent universal doom, Blaise is also tasked with discovering who Miraak is and how he is relevant to his mother, Skylar Whitemane. There's a lot of pressure on Blaise but he's determined to find a way to stay on top of it all. A/N: This book is running simultaneously with The First and Last Dragonborn. They both take place in the same time period. You need to read The Dragonborn Comes (first) and That's Madness (second) first to understand both.

Lyrinn, a "Breton" on a search and destroy mission to follow the last known soldier and survivor after the attack of Highrock, Vice-Director, Ondolemar. The only supposed man who knows of the person she desires to meet. Whilst on the mission, she learns of an impending attack upon the capital of Highrock; her place of birth. With her goal changed, she, with the assitance of a few trusting allies, will themselves to stop the pointless attack. And with the knowledge of the sancity of the Director being a Benefactor, they made they're first goal to be his right-hand soldiers. If she could do that; she could get anything she wanted. Even knowledge. ------------------------------------------------------- Tainted by his past, Ondolemar feeds off his hatred of men. The betrayal in Skyrim has tipped him over the edge. With rumours flying from up above, about Highrock sending troops to Skyrim to help defend against the Thalmor, he sends a small fleet, with himself in the lead. It appeared, the town had known of the troops, even if that particular end of HighRock detested magic. He had been onto something. The next attack, would be to the Capital. If only the higher ups would listen to him: Those who didn't trust his judgment since the death of Elenwen, and his troops. Had faulted him for the failure. He would show them soon enough. His troops: His minor army would prove more effective then their thousands of soldiers. His 7. Only then will he prove the fault is theirs: and the Directors. ------------- "Two paths cross; Ondolemar begins to wonder about the girl that insists on tormenting him. Lyrinn, begins to wonder about the man with such hatred in his heart. Dagon Bourne, a Breton of Nordic descent, returns to his roots with three goals in mind: learn more about his father, Hermaeous; unravel the cryptic messages of his mother and his destiny as "Dovahkiin"; and join the Imperial Legion based in Skyrim to get revenge on the man who assaulted his mother, Ulfric Stormcloak. But his plans are delayed by the return of the world eater, Alduin. He teams up with what he believes to be a Dwemer scholar and inventor, a female Ice mage/conjuror, and a boy with the skill of ten men. But he will soon learn: there are more realms to Oblivion than just Nirn....
