Honestly she stopped counting on how screwed up this family tree was. But when business trip to Iraq then to Jerusalem the birthplace of her parents for cultural reconstruction enters her mundane life, what does Vykaria do? She impulsively signs up,expecting some nonsensical cliche to happen like movies where spirts from the dead awaken ,but thats far fetched given Vykaria's history,for closure probably because she's holding onto nostalgia.
