Amphitryon and Tutankhamun grew up as close friends during their teenage years, bound by training, diplomacy, and youthful ambition.
Their friendship flourished in the royal courts of Egypt when Amphitryon, a Greek noble, frequently visited the palace during alliances between Greece and Pharaoh Thutmose Xl Within those golden halls he met Princess Nitocris, the daughter of the pharaoh. Beautiful, intelligent, and strong-willed, she had already been promised in marriage to Tutankhamun, the future king of Egypt.
The two had loved each other since childhood, and their union was both political and deeply personal. Yet Amphitryon fell in love with Nitocris as well. Driven by passion and pride, he confessed his feelings publicly, only to be rejected by the princess, who told him her heart belonged to Tutankhamun. Humiliated before the court and wounded by rejection, Amphitryon swore that one day she would regret humiliating him.Years later fate shifts cruelly.
The queen dies, kingdoms crumble, and Amphitryon hides his bitterness behind diplomacy and patience. His revenge takes a darker path: he will marry Nitocris's daughter and make her suffer for the humiliation he once endured. At first his marriage is cruel, performed before the world as punishment for her mother's rejection.
Yet revenge twists into something unexpected. As time passes, Amphitryon begins to truly fall in love with the woman he once meant to destroy. The princess must decide whether to believe his transformation and rise as a powerful queen-or reject him and force him to face the consequences of the revenge that nearly destroyed them both.
