They each had torture weapons. One dragged in a hot coal and a metal in it while the other two had whips and woods - long woods. I gulped and looked at the leader. "If you cooperate, your sentence will be light." He informed and stood before me. "Who are you?" I asked trying to hide my fear. He smirked. "You don't know me? This is not our first encounter Red Diamond." I sighed. He was Chinese. All his boys were Chinese. It was ancient China. From their movies, torture isn't a fun event. "I do not know your name." I said. He huffed. "Stalling? I'm Duke Shen, the head of the Secret Security Bureau."

The story tells of creatures that begin to roam the night-hunting humans not just for survival, but for power. It may sound mythical and unbelievable, but every story spoken by our ancestors is as fragile-and as real-as thin ice. These beings are no ordinary monsters found in folklore. They are experiments-once human, now twisted into something far more mysterious and dangerous. As these tales spread across kingdoms and villages, disappearances begin to rise, and fear takes root. People vanish without a trace-whether inside their homes or beneath the dim glow of lantern light-gone in the blink of an eye. These are just some random short stories that I cannot hold inside my brain any longer. Some may be short. Some may be long. Some may be happy. Some may be sad. There is no particular category or format these stories fall in, as I want to experiment with different things.
