These are just some random short stories that I cannot hold inside my brain any longer. Some may be short. Some may be long. Some may be happy. Some may be sad. There is no particular category or format these stories fall in, as I want to experiment with different things. This is a life story of Zhao Yang, who is the 8th prince of Northern Song Dynasty's Zhao Kingdom. At birth, his fate has been sealed by his father, the emperor dowager, to be a general as the imperial astronomer predicted he would make a fearsome general who would protect the kingdom and not let his people down. Being the youngest, he was the most mischevious of the 8 sons. Then being most doted on by the ruling Emperor who is also his 5th brother and alongside with his younger cousin, Bai Xuan whom Zhao Yang adores dearly and almost never spent a day apart from, the palace rules and strict lifestyle wasn't able to dampen the adventurous and care free attitude in him. For Zhao Yang, rules are meant to be broken and if no mischief was achieved for the day, his day wouldn't be completed. However, as he grow, the days for such fun and carefreeness was numbered and soon, destiney was here to claim him bit by bit. ----------------------------------------------------------- "I'm so tired An Ning. The devotion for another is the most euphoric thing, when you dote that one person and sacrifice them everything but in return the last thing you will ever see as your breathing slowly stops; the smirk of an cold hearted beast. You ask him slowly with your dying self, "H- have you ever loved me?" With your warm tears flowing out your eyes. He stares at you coldly and finally answers to your question. "No." Never have I ever loved you." She takes her last breath, and her eyes start closing slowly as she remembers the last words of somebody she cherished. "Never have I ever loved you." Many people have heard of the story, Journey to The West, with the story centered on the pilgrims and the great Tang monk. But what of the characters outside of their story? People who have faced their own suffering and earned happy endings in glory and power. The Camel Ridge brothers were known in the story as the three malicious demons who planned to devour the Tang monk and gain immortality or perhaps gain higher power from the holy flesh. The Azure lion, Yellow tusk elephant, and Golden-winged eagle. Three are sworn brothers with similar goals and motives, though both Azure lion and Yellow tusk only aimed to eat the Tang monk, while the Golden-winged eagle wished to grant the monk as a gift to the peacock princess and pursue marriage. But what if there's more to the story than what is given? What if the brothers' have a greater goal in mind? What if the peacock princess has more to her character? What if the relationship between the eagle and the peacock isn't all there is to the written book?
