Alea's story begins when she becomes involved in a project led by foreign researchers studying an ancient artifact unearthed from the Nalanda ruins, discovered beneath a pavilion once built by a Sriwijayan king. From that moment, her sense of reality starts to fracture. Information arrives in fragments, languages refuse to align, and meaning collapses before it can fully form. The disturbances escalate until time itself breaks, throwing Alea into the era of Sriwijaya and placing her face to face with a king who should exist only in historical records. This is not a story of romance across centuries. Alea is pulled into a dangerous mission to prevent the king's death at the hands of a dark force moving through temporal fractures. If she fails, Sriwijaya will not merely fall. It will vanish before history ever remembers it.
