Y/n L/n had always aspired to be like one of the heroes that legends were written about. Unfortunately, no matter how much one desires something, they can't always achieve their wish. So no matter how many times Y/n tries to learn how to fight with a sword, tries to detect his enemies, or works on complicated footwork, he will never be a warrior. For he is blind. Rendered sightless from birth, and he is incapable of being a warrior at any capacity. So, it's a cruel, twisted joke when a Trickster God comes to Y/n in his dreams and tells the boy he's chosen for a divine quest. That quest, you ask? To hunt down and kill one of the most ruthless monsters that terrorizes the coastal town of Aegium. Medusa. However, there is an astounding amount of lack-of-foresight and planning - from everyone, all around (even the author). And just maybe, Y/n can be the hero he's always wanted to be. In an entirely different way, of course. _____ Preview: Not many Greek warriors entered the Gorgon's cave in such a bold, abrasive manner anymore. They especially did not wave their swords in the air wildly about their person and declare: "Why do you think I am here? I've been sent on a godly quest to defeat a tentacle monster!" "Pardon?" the Gorgon asked, surprised into speech by the (h/c) man's words. "Or maybe some kind of serpent. The gods weren't very clear on that part now that I think about it," the strange man continued, his back still turned to Medusa. ...It had been a long while since Medusa has felt this out of his depth. (Just wait until he learns that this man doesn't turn to stone). _____ Ft. Gay Medusa.

Since birth, a prophecy has haunted your life. "One day, you shall stand beside a god" Everyone believed it foretold your ascension and dedicated your life to becoming worthy of ascending to divinity. Along the way, you meet Mydeimos, the God of war, and he becomes an important constant. More important to you than the prophecy you've been centered around your whole life. As the interest deepens into love, you continue your chase of godhood. But you're unaware that it's not about becoming a God, but standing next to one as you fall. You never became a god. But the gods themselves mourn your passing. ao3 tags :: Mydei is Called Mydeimos (Honkai: Star Rail) Mydei is Down Bad (Honkai: Star Rail) Protective Mydei (Honkai: Star Rail) Mydei-centric (Honkai: Star Rail) Angs tCharacter Death Reader-Insert No Use of Y/N for Reader-Insert Reader-Insert Dies Gender-Neutral Reader-Insert Alternate Universe - Gods & Goddesses Mydei is a God unestablished relationships Mentioned Phainon (Honkai: Star Rail) The Author Regrets Nothing Aglaea is a god Prophecy Violence reader falls first mydei falls harder Loneliness Mental Anguish Eventual Smut References to Ancient Greek Religion & Lore Alternate Universe - Ancient Greek Religion & Lore Fusion reader is called fate born no name for reader applied Implied/Referenced Grooming Mind Manipulation

Dive into an ancient historical mystery involving the Magi! In the shadow of ancient Greece, Thalia flees her past as a coerced Delphi priestess, seeking refuge in Lydia with her enigmatic protector, Kratos. But who is Kratos really? Rumoured to be a double agent, his true motives remain shrouded in mystery. Their evolving relationship intertwines with the rise of Cyrus of Persia, espionage, and a quest to unmask a hidden magus cabal mastermind bent on assassination. As secrets unravel, Thalia grapples with echoes from her time as an oracle-a haunting connection that leads her to Delphi itself. Amid gothic overtones and a labyrinth of mysteries, she confronts the truth about her own identity. I'm a classical archaeologist. This novel is plot- and character-based with well-developed characters and arcs, combining enigmatic mystery, espionage, and romance against a rich historical background. It has an intricate plot for which I've made much effort toward creating a captivating mystery. I am committed to historical accuracy and to weaving real events seamlessly into the narrative.
