Author's note: This is the product of too much thought about a choice in casting. And no, the cover is not A.I. At 1 a.m. sharp this thought was born at the shambles of Christopher Nolan's interpretation of the Odyssey. I give you one simple change in cast that somehow could change the whole plotline of the epic itself: What if Odysseus was Pedro Pascal? There is no man in this world who would cross four seas for a woman. There is no "he" that would win a war and wait twenty years before he gets to celebrate. But above all, one thing is for sure: There is no space for a woman in an epic for the ages. And yet there he is, mighty Odysseus: winner of wars, killer of men and sung about hero.
