This Fanfic spans the events following Captain America's disappearance into the quantum tunnel at the conclusion of Avengers: Endgame. It follows Steve Rogers as he returns each of the Infinity Stones to its place in the timeline, rejoins the love of his life for an adventure-riddled happily ever after, and eventually passes the mantle of Captain America on to his friend and colleague Sam Wilson. Notes: It is my intention for this story to fit within the canon of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, detailing events that were implied but never shown onscreen, and filling in gaps and unanswered questions with my own headcanon. I have a deep (arguably obsessive) familiarity with the Marvel films and TV shows, but I certainly don't know everything! If any part of this story conflicts with onscreen events within the MCU, please let me know so that I can work to update the fic. That being said, I subscribe to the McFeelian school of thought regarding Steve looping through life in the main/sacred timeline, so if your objection is that he lived with Peggy in a branch reality, we'll have to agree to disagree.
