Maple Arienvale is joining Bagsiath War College. She now has to survive the cutthroat world of Bagsiath while being discriminated and targeted due to her relic.

Kira soon discovers that secrets in Basgiath run deep, and their price is blood. If she isn't careful, she could be the one atoning for them. Kira must quickly figure out who she can trust, and who is looking to place a dagger in her back. Basgiath is a labyrinth, and the only way to graduate is to endure-which may include enduring the annoyance of her brother's best friend, who can't seem to leave Kira alone.

What if someone bonded a dragon outside of Basgiath? Raven Riorson, not nearly old enough for the quadrant, loves adventures. With sixteen, she decides to run away from her foster parents and make the best of the years she has, because they didn't train her anyway. Wandering over fields and forests, jumping on wagons and stealing from hotel kitchens, she makes her way across the continent. Little did she know that she was about to encounter a dragon, nonetheless one of the biggest alive. Surprisingly, she didnt get torched, and instead bonded that mighty and rare dragon, flying to the war college. While waiting for judgment, she reunites with her big brother, and meets Liam for the first time. The teachers, not knowing what else to do, make her cross the parapet and put her to join the lessons if she survived. But does she? Will she make it through the year or will she be another name on the death roll? Kyra Riorson, sister of Xaden Riorson was forced to join the Riders quadrant as per the agreement between Xaden Riorson and General Melgran. She's as fiery as her brother. It's a story on her struggles in the quadrant. All these characters and plot belongs to Rebecca Yarros. This an addition to her book series 'The Empyrean' as per my imagination on if Xaden had a sister. The book is shows the struggles faced by marked ones and also their bondings. The story has spoilers from Fourth Wing, Iron Flame and Onxy Storm.
