Alter egos. It was the only way to explain what those creatures were. They had been running rampant on humanity, crushing everything in their paths, turning seemingly normal people into killing machines. The government is attempting to gather unique individuals with the ability to hunt down these alter egos, and decipher who is or will become one of these monsters. Akira Kurusu has a rare case. He has been a scout ever since he was young. By the age of fifteen, he is recruited to work under a special corporation against his will. He is sent as an undercover scout to Tokyo, to a high school and an area where alter egos had been popping up more frequently. His mission: find the alter egos, and kill them, no matter what. Akira finds that he doesn't have what it takes to kill these alter egos. But that doesn't mean that he won't do something about them. He breaks away from the government and goes into hiding, working in secret to take down the alter egos that had been threatening society. Akira later acquires an ability to use the Metaverse to revert alter egos back to who they once were... and it comes with a price. (I do not own Persona 5 or its characters.)

They would be taken in by the Board of Witches. But around the middle ages, the board fell to humans, and witches were forced into hiding. Nora is a modern day teenager who has been hiding as a witch her whole life. Her frizzy red hair is the only thing that seems abnormal about her appearance, but up close on her wrist she bears the mark of a witch. She thinks that her life could not be any different, but then she and her friends are discovered by the Board. She then meets a boy named Ander, who saves her from a near death experience. He has strange powers but does not bear the mark of a witch. He also works as the leader of a criminal justice group called Sangre, which the police have been investigating. Ander and Nora don't know what they're in for, but now know that they have to stick together. It doesn't cross their minds that their small discovery will turn into a full blown war. The leader of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, Joker, AKA, Ren Amamiya, is not in a good mood. It's been a year after the events that happened in Persona 5, and trouble has struck. Ren's parents have been arguing, and now they are getting a divorce. To find his own peace, Ren decides to return to Cafe Leblanc in Yongen-Jaya. But things seem to get worse, as he gets in arguments and finally decides to be a shut-in. The Phantom Thieves try to reach out to him, but nothing seems to be able to get to Ren. With a little bit of help, the group of teens manage to access the Metaverse that has reformed once again. And to their surprise, they discover a palace. A palace who the ruler is none other than Ren Amamiya himself. I don't own Persona 5 or any of its characters. Artwork displayed is not mine unless otherwise stated. (In this A.U, the events of Persona 5 Strikers/Scramble never occured. This is because I started writing this before it was even released, and I don't want to go back and rewrite this whole story. Besides, then it would contain spoilers from the sequel, and I don't want problems with that.)

And there is also the curse he bears in the Phantom Realm. Ander knows what he did was wrong, but if he had to suffer for it, he wouldn't want Nora to suffer the same fate.
