NOT FINISHED AND IM EDITING IT!! andy was getting ready to meet up with the world renowned Jack Pritchard, as he was the most famous fire fighter for, saving a child with developmental disabilities who was trapped on the third floor of a burning building. andy was so excited to meet him as she was a very popular fire fighter also for doing a lot of back to back shifts as she just could not get the adrynaline out of her. she was taking a 7 hour flight from seattle to texas. read the story and find out ;) i dont post chapters every week due to school and family matters.

originally started this to go right after the events of 5x05, when Sullivan gives Andy the divorce papers and she gets called away before she can say anything, but I'm a slow writer and I never got around to finishing it. here's what I had written <3

The wildfire in LA was a big experience for both Sullivan an Andy facing their second near death experience. Not first but second it's like they couldn't live them with other people, but was it always a good thing ?

I should begin by stating that I did not watch the series finale due to a sort of 'ill at ease feeling of mine-as my allegiances to Andy and Robert are well-known you may guess what I mean...x-over with Chicago Med. A tragic explosion takes the lives of some members of '19' and '23', including Sullivan and Miller.

This story isn't just a just journey backwards towards what was, but hopefully a journey towards a better version of them as a couple. ~I am of two minds about what happened in 5x02, specifically the utter IDIOCY of Andy Herrera EVER having sex with -CRINGE/VOMIT/RETCH/EYE ROLL/IMODIUM, PLEASE-STAT!-Sean Beckett. In my AU, Robert was never demoted to 'Probie' from BATTALION CHIEF, and as patently ridiculous as the premise that no matter how desperate Andy may be...BECKETT??! I decided to publish the 'canon' version (with some changes) with Chapter 3 as the AU in which she took a different, much more believable (at least to me!) path. Enjoy.
