They were never meant to survive, let alone love. Two fractured souls drifted through a world that had already written their endings. One moved slowly, quietly undone by a weight that no one could see, every breath a reminder that time was not kind. The other carried a storm beneath a still face, a mind that never rested, a chaos that pressed from the inside, relentless and unyielding. When they found each other, it felt like something rare and impossible- like recognition in the cracks, like a pause in a world that would not pause for them. For a moment, it almost felt like hope. But being together only made the fragility unbearable. Every moment was a sunray slipping through trembling fingers, a warmth they could never hold for long. They clung with every ounce of themselves, desperate and raw, trying to keep the darkness at bay, but the light kept dying, and the shadows pressed closer, leaving only a hollow ache that would linger long after the warmth was gone. They could not save each other. They could only hold on, for as long as anything would let them.

Hello dear reader, whoever you are. This is my first fanfic ever, and is probably awful, but hey! I tried. Anyways, this is just an Andreil FanFic that tells about how Neil grew to trust the people he loves, aside from Andrew who he already trusts with all his being. I won't be able to update regularly, but it's okay because no one will most likely want to read it anyways! I'm okay, really.( *cries internally*)So anyways my dear reader, enjoy.

"I didn't plan on leaving," his voice was raspy because of how little he used it. Pointedly, he stared at the tanned hand still grasping his own, it was scarred, as Andrew noticed. "I felt more like you were about to punch me," Andrew felt a funny feeling tingle down his back when he heard the honeylike voice for the first time. Or, as I told a friend of mine: 2.5k words of Andrew being in love with just the slightest touch of angst.

Remember, Neil. He told himself. Remember this moment, these people, this feeling, this life. This is what happiness feels like.

Andrew Minyard is fine being alone, really he is. Bee has her small little coven and he has his own practice, the ingredients that speak to him and guide him and his magical doodles to keep him company. The last thing he expects is to find a home amongst other witches that aren't Bee. AKA A story of a young witch finding his place and comfort in his practice. *Decided to take this from my ao3 and post it here!*

A/N: After two weeks of unhealthy obsession, I've decided to write a fanfic for the first time in my life. This is The King's Men by Nora Sakavic (third installment of the All For the Game trilogy) but from Andrew's point of view instead of Neil's. I'm using the novel and Nora's extra tumblr content to try and be as realistic as possible. Can't guarantee I won't stray a bit, though. I've also taken a couple cues from naj10ajm03 on Archive. Obviously, if you haven't read all three of the books, this won't make any sense. But I hope you like it! All rights to the characters and stuff go to Nora Sakavic.
