But when publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst raise distribution prices at the newsboys' expense, Jack finds a cause to fight for and rallies newsies from across the city to strike and take a stand for what's right. (Script transcribed by me with the help of the online script Disney released a while ago. You can kind of tell when I crapped out on the titles lol. Warnings: I do inflict my ships upon this writing. It also has not been fully edited. I do pay more attention to some characters than others based upon how close I hold them to my heart.) All rights belong to Disney, Jeff Calhoun, Harvey Fierstein, Alan Menken, and anyone involved in this marvelous production of the show that has touched the hearts and lives of people across the world: Newsies.
