Follow up on my alternate ending to Love Never Dies. Christine and her son chose to stay in Coney Island to run Phantasma after the sudden death of the mysterious Mr. Y (aka The Phantom of the Opera). But one night, while Christine was asleep, she keeps hearing his voice and even sees him. She believes that he isn't truly dead but it has been 10 years since he was shot then buried. Is Christine delusional or did he never leave the one woman he loves?

When Erik takes a bit too much of a beloved drug, he begins to imagine a whole life with Christine. ~~~~~~~ Just a quick disclaimer all the characters presented in this story belong to their rightful owners, Gaston Leroux, Susan Kay, and Andrew Lloyd Webber. ~~~~~~~ Also this story does contain drug use so if you are not comfortable with that than this book might not be for you. Also I in no way encourage drug use this is just a plot point!

This is the backstory for Macavity and Demeter. Rated T for slight abuse, especially in Part Two (kind of violent but not adult). Also some cute, fluffy, cheesy romance, as well as sadness and betrayal.

AU: Christine Daae has run away from an engagement party and from her fiance, Raoul. And in the middle of the night in Paris, a group of thieves corner her. Just as they were about to rob her from her jewelry and money, a masked man saves her and takes her to his home where she can be safe. During her stay, she sees her hero, Erik Destler, what his life ls like below the high society. She then sees the music from his point of view. But her fiance has been looking for her. Will she go back to Raoul or will she stay in this life she has become more accustom to?

Christine had left him! And took his heart with her. Erik hid in the catacombs and tricked the police into believing that he was dead. And at some point he was dead - dead inside, heartbroken and emotionless. That was until a girl found him laying unconscious in his catacombs, ready to die. She nurses him and shows him what love, a feeling he long tossed aside, means. Camille stumbled into Paris 1881, into the time when the Phantom of the Opera's plot ended with Erik's death. But to her astonishment he was very much alive! Hoping she can help Erik overcome his obstacles, she tries to show him a life outside the darkness and emptiness. ErikxOC

Mature rating is turned on because of some anticipated sexy times but there'll be a warning if a chapter incurs anything more than a li'l smoochin'!
