As the city of Troy burns, one goddess watches the struggles of three women: Cassandra, Andromache and Helen; and learns about true strength. The goddess remembers the battle between the famous Achilles and Hector; the rage and glory brought to the fight. She wonders how the gods can play games with the lives of mortals, and blames herself for everything that has happened.

There is another immortal. But, she is just a kid and shows up only a year after the Old Guard added Nile. Andy, doesn't know what to think, but she takes the girl under her wing. **Based off of the movie but Andy keeps her immortality.

I loved The Old Guard. I loved the casting, the acting, the songs, the whole deal... I especially loved Nicky ❤ Joe. That scene in the van... Luca Marinelli said in an interview, that's what you have after a thousand years, that's what love would be like. I'm paraphrasing, of course, but he did say that. And Joe's declaration...he killed me. Or I should say, Marwan Kenzari did. He really did. I mean Charlize Theron is gold and I loved the other actors too, but Marwan and Luca... thank you guys for bringing to life the Immortal love story of Nicky and Joe, and for doing it brilliantly. I have the team in Malta in this one shot, set immediately after the movie. My one shot is based on the characters in the movie. I did read the comics, but I found the movie version more... real, somehow. Testament to the actors, director and Greg Rucka of course, who is the creator of the series as well as the movie's screenwriter. So... enough rambling. Joe and Nicky are on vacation in gorgeous Malta, where Andy and Nile join them after a while... Disclaimer: The characters belong to the creators, no copyright infringement intended.

Andy was just as intrigued by the beautiful stranger as Nebula was by her, yet, she made peace with the fact that they could never meet again. Their brief interaction echoed in her mind from time to time; the mindset-altering push Andy needed to rethink her growing resentment towards humanity.
