Parker Shaw was a model patient when it came to maintaining his health and physical well-being. Which is why it came as such a shock to him when his annual check-up uncovered a need for surgery. During the surgery, there were complications. Parker's loved ones were informed that he didn't make it. Per a medical directive left behind by Parker, the only remains his family received were ashes. In the meantime, Parker woke up after the surgery. Not in a coffin. Not in an urn. But in a cold, dark room - attached to IVs but still very much alive. With the world thinking he was dead, Parker was left to his own devices to find out where he was, if he was alone, and why someone who abducted him would go through the trouble of pumping him full of nutrients if their intent was to harm him.
