A collection of poems created during a time of chaos, but new beginnings. The paths that were taken and the wars that were fought. You are never alone when shedding your skin between a rock and a hard place. Even when you do, there's always someone there do you to fall on.

People in this world expect nothing but perfection. A bright and perfect smile. A perfect appearance. A bright aura. So what happens when you are born without it ? "Why can't you be just like her !?" What about their personality ? Who they really are ? What do you see in them ? Is it because of their appearance ? I'm just kidding. There's no such thing. When they tell you that, "You'll never be as perfect as her" ? I don't believe anything about perfection. All I focus on in this world is all our "Imperfections" caused by regret.

But she prefers to have her own life. She didn't really grew up with her parents and it is because they are all over the globe. They only meet for dinner meetings which is only once or twice a year and for Lauren, that sucks. She didn't have her own freedom. More or less have anyone who she can call as a friend. People tries to make friends to her just because of her parents. It's all business to them. She's so fed up with everything around her to the point where she created a new life. Away from her home. Leah is a 14 year old girl, from Canterbury, Kent. She goes to school and hangs out with friends and is starting her GCSEs. She she lives with her single mum who works hard to support them, Leah also has a weekend job to help out too. But one day there is an accident. Her mum doesn't survive. She is left in the care of her only remaining family. Sean Green. Doctor Green never knew that he had a second cousin or that his second cousin had a wife and child, nor that he had left them when their daughter was only a baby. However when he gets a phone call telling him he is Leah's only chance at avoiding the foster system, and being the caring man he is, he jumps at the chance to help and give her a family.
