A small story based on the prompt ' what if death fell in love with life'. Death is represented by an angel named Azrail. Life by an angel named Zoey Eden. This will be a slow burn. Zoey Eden loves her job. Seeing the humans she serves at their best, their most happy times. The last thing she expected was for Death, in the form of another angel Azrael, to enter her world. She prays she never sees him again but when she does, she discovers he is much more then she expected. Contains scenes of violence and joy. Has exoticism in a strange otherworldly way. Will life and death be able to co-exist? What will they create?

I looked out over the blinking eyes of the city, the moon shining bright with false beauty in the dead of night. My breath like smoke, undeniably chilled by the cold, but I had no home to go to in order to warm myself up. As I rested my arm on my knee, my other leg dangled off the ledge the ledge I sat on, and I couldn't help but wonder if I would ever find a place to call home.
