After Cordy is awake from her Coma, Angel and her finally get together. They start living together a new life. As for the Angel's urse, Willow helps them to deal with it for certain time, with a ring of spell she gifts Angel, so that whenever he and cordelia decides to get a bit intimate, Angel doesn't lose his soul and channel out Angelus; plus she knew Angel deserves better after everything he been through. She was working on a permanent solution for that, but meanwhile, he can use the ring she gave her, that will stop Angel from losing his soul.

Illyria's installed in Fred's body, nice and cosy, and the war with Wolfram and Hart is as over as it's going to get. It's not so nice, it's not at all cosy, and Illyria is sick.
