This is the second part to Fractured State: In a world still scarred by chaos, survival isn't the hardest part, it's trust. Maya would rather do literally anything than sing in front of people. So naturally, everyone wants her to audition for Battle of the Bands. Between AP English, avoiding unwanted attention, and surviving sophomore year with her dignity mostly intact, performing was never part of the plan. But being in the wrong place at the wrong time can impact someone more than you can imagine-and this unfortunate timing forces her back into the orbit of someone she thought she was done with-Maya starts realizing that staying invisible might cost more than being seen. A story about music, bad decisions, old friendships, and things that are easier to sing than say.

I wonder how I will be known in the future, will I be the hero? Or will I be the villain? It all depends on the narrator I guess. But in my story, I will just be someone who didn't know what the right thing was. I have lived three lifetimes, my dear readers and I have failed in all three of them, this one is my only hope to tell you about him. Because I don't care if I will be remembered or not, I wish for him to be remembered forever, I wish for him to be cherished like he should've been when we were together. For all the mistakes I made, he was the best decision of my whole life. My Raja, My fighter, My doctor. And I, I was his when I was a queen, when I was a fighter and when I was a soldier.
