About 400 years ago people thought the world was free for radiation. Everyone started to try to rebuild the world, but only after a couple days on the ground people started dying. Turns out the radiation wasn't completely gone, the ones who didn't die was sort of immune. Instead of dying they turned in to these brain dead people. Kind of like Zombies, most people call them muertas. If you get bitten you either die because you aren't immune to their radiation or you turn in to a brain dead killing monster. The good part is that they aren't very smart so killing them isn't necessarily hard. There are 4 different clans of survivors. We got the Bjergins, they are the ones who live up in the mountains. You don't see them much, they keep mostly to themselves. Next up are the Prithvias. Prithvias live under ground, no one have seen a Prithvia in maybe 50 years so most people believe they died out. I'm a Libertas, Libertas is Latin for 'liberty' or 'freedom'. Libertas live on the ground. Some of the Libertas are out here because the clans kicked them out, what the clans would call criminals. Others like me, ran away from our clans. However most of the Libertas are out here because they didn't pass the entrance exam. Every clan has them, when you turn 12 there is an exam you have to take to check if you are worthy of your clan. The last clan is the palace. The palace is the most powerful clan. Most people living in the palace have never even seen the outside unless you're in the army.
