This will have spoilers for the game. yes. this is a au, yes. this will a be a short writing story for be so I can get out of my writers block. there will most likely only be 4 chapters, if not 3. Each chapter will be from a different perspective, and I'll make it clear who it is. A few things I want to make clear. Makoto is the protagonist at first and then it switches to junko. almost all the Canon deaths are the same, though they aren't that important. unfortunately Mukuro is irrelevant here. there is a bit of naegamigiri but it's purely platonic. they need comfort and I want them to have it. Junko is not despair crazy, she's normal. her character will be similar to how mukuro played her in canon. there's no shipping going on here. Thank you for reading this.

this story takes place in the aftermath of the original events of DDLC, so upfront, spoilers. Ever since Monika blocked the MC from coming back, the Literature club has been at a standstill. The three other members are aware of Monika's actions and find it hard to act normally around her, and Monika is desperate to prove she's changed. The only question is, will her friends come around? Or will things never really be the same as they were?
