The Mercenary screamed and the soldiers all ducked for cover as a burst of dark energy burst out from her hands destroying the glass windows and knocking the men to the floor. The men cowered away from her as she frantically called for her friend, the soldier who taught her the meaning of loyalty. The one who crept into her stone heart and has destroyed it in one fatal swoop. "Where is he?" Her voice cracked and her eyes blurred, this was not supposed to be her life, she was supposed to be a ghost, a whisper in a man's nightmares. She thought of the day they met and wondered if she would have just- well, this could be better explained in her story. The story of the assassin who met the First Avenger and lost him in the same year.
