Elizabeth's best friend is Maddie Smith, they have been friends since preschool. When mysteriously kids are dying in the town and no one knows how or why.

Faith Knight, her older brother Doug, and their parents move to Springwood, not entirely expecting much apart from strange tales of a killer, though believing it's nothing more than a story meant to scare teenagers. However, Doug and Faith end up on the receiving end of horrendous nightmares as they meet new people, only to watch them die. Will Doug and Faith be able to destroy the notorious Freddy Krueger?
