She almost snapped at Tom Nook the other day. She's never been a violent person. She's been doing this for years, why was she starting to break down and crumble now? Something was missing. Doomguy is getting tired. Sure, killing demons all day had it's charms, and was very satisfactory, but something was..... missing. With hordes of demons coming day after day after day, Doomguy started to wonder something he never thought of before. When will it end?

However, the search soon proves exhausting, and Ai seems to forget that she is already surrounded by people who love and support her. Will she find Raymond? Or will she discover the meaning of something that was always there? ~~~~~~~~~~ This is just a short story that I wrote to embody the craze and panic of getting the new villager Raymond on your island in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Because he's new and extremely cute, everyone wants him, but it's very difficult to cut a deal online, and MORE difficult to find him in-game. As one of the many who really wants him, this story explains how it feels to be a Raymond searcher, and how things can look up for those of us who have no hope. ;)
