This series is an homage/parody of the video game franchise Sonic the Hedgehog. As such, it all takes place on an alternate Earth -- better known as Immobi. This wicked wild world is home to a variety of anthropomorphic animals, including two 19-year-olds in particular. There's the good-sported, itchy-footed, and quick-witted Umeme Cheetah. Then there's the cocky, carefree, and foolhardy Radi O. Peregrine. The two are best buds who not only share a brotherly bond, but a need for speed as well. Hence their names (translated in Swahili) these two Immobians wield the power of electrokinesis. Pretty self-explanatory, but they're able to generate high amounts of electricity within their bodies -- allowing them to perform various tricks and techniques. The most prominent being to run -- or in the latter's case, fly -- at around 270,000 mph; Literal lightning speed. With it, our duo races across the vast African continent, if not beyond, in search of thrill and danger. Be it open plains, dense jungles, scorching deserts, or etc. etc. -- these sparking speedsters will certainly be there in a flash. Throughout their adventures, Umeme and Radi will come across various characters -- both friend and foe alike. With their most frequent foes being monstrous entities known as Nightmares. Created from a currently anonymous source, each kind varies from shape and size -- yet shares a common goal to wreak total chaos. While these Nightmares are determined to do so wherever they go, both cheetah and peregrine are determined to stop them in their tracks. Kootenai National Hybrid Trust (or, as the students call it, KNHT or Hell) is a specialist school in Montana/Idaho set for all sorts of creatures large or small. years ago, hybrids started to grace the earth. not just animals, but others such as vampires or Werewolves. but, along with this new world anomaly, came hate and disgust. these unnatural creatures drove the normal humans away and brought the ones who still harboured such hate forward with new vengeance. ever since then, hybrids had been born and cared for by the ones who didn't see them as such disgusting things, but just because some liked the hybrids... doesn't mean everyone did. worlds collide in a mix of bravery and retaliation, it's up to the humans still left with sick desires of experimentation, or the hybrid population to protect what is now theirs. an oc book based in the future, around the states of Montana and Idaho in the US, located in the Kootenai National Park that stretches into Idaho, Montana and Canada. this book and my ocs are extremely inspired by the netflix series "Sweet Tooth".
