A young pig, orphaned and abused, is about to discover that he is much more than an ordinary boar. I do not own Animal Farm or Harry Potter. They are respectively owned by George Orwell and JK Rowling.

This is an intriguing love story about Ridley and Nazir. The boys have a passionate love for each other, but circumstances interfere and Nazir is gone. How will Ridley cope? This is obviously ironic,ok cool. All characters and events are fictional; any resemblances are coincidental.

I am still working on this short story so there will probably be updates here and there. Right now, the basis of this story is about a person who is truthful among a ton of hypocrites, but instead of a person, the characters are sheep. Think Animal Farm by George Orwell.

Animal Farm is a beast fable, in form of satirical allegorical novella, by George Orwell, first published in England on 17 August 1945. It tells the story of a group of farm animals who rebel against their human farmer, hoping to create a society where the animals can be equal, free, and happy. Ultimately, the rebellion is betrayed, and the farm ends up in a state as bad as it was before, under the dictatorship of a pig named Napoleon. According to Orwell, Animal Farm reflects events leading up to the Russian Revolution of 1917 and then on into the Stalinist era of the Soviet Union. Orwell, a democratic socialist, was a critic of Joseph Stalin and hostile to Moscow-directed Stalinism, an attitude that was critically shaped by his experiences during the May Days conflicts between the POUM and Stalinist forces during the Spanish Civil War. In a letter to Yvonne Davet, Orwell described Animal Farm as a satirical tale against Stalin ("un conte satirique contre Staline"), and in his essay "Why I Write" (1946), wrote that Animal Farm was the first book in which he tried, with full consciousness of what he was doing, "to fuse political purpose and artistic purpose into one whole". Orwell wrote the book between November 1943 and February 1944, when the United Kingdom was in its wartime alliance with the Soviet Union against Nazi Germany, and the British intelligentsia held Stalin in high esteem, a phenomenon Orwell hated. Ten years on from the original book, catch up with that British couple who moved to a big old house in the countryside of South Bohemia. We are not expats, we are British immigrants, trying our best to make sense of the society that is kind enough to host us. What's changed? Our English has got worse as our Czech improves. Our animal entourage has grown considerably and now we have a selection of wild and crazy Czech friends to keep us entertained. Settled, but Brexit looming, will we be able to keep home and hearth together? Or will we be forced to move on? Bohemian Antiks Continue is a gentle tale of rural life and animal adventures in a beautiful land not so far away from home.

Animal Farm is regarded in the literary field as one of the most famous satirical allegories of Soviet totalitarianism. Orwell based the book on events up to and during Joseph Stalin's regime. Orwell, a democratic socialist, and a member of the Independent Labour Party for many years, was a critic of Stalin, and was suspicious of Moscow-directed Stalinism after his experiences in the Spanish Civil War. The plot is an allegory in which the pigs in a farm play the role of the Bolshevik revolutionaries and overthrow and oust the human owners of the farm, setting it up as a commune in which, at first, all animals are equal. The other characters have their parallels in the real world, but care should be taken with these comparisons as they do not always match history exactly and often simply represent generalised concepts. The novel was chosen by TIME Magazine as one of the 100 best English-language novels from 1923 to the present.
