Humans had the potential to become powerful mages, mages that rivaled even the most powerful Kemonomimi mages, and Lord Zachias saw them as a threat to his new empire, and had them wiped out. Jay was the only hope the Resistance had. If he could hone his skills and learn magic, he could defeat Lord Zachias and cause the empire to collapse. Will Jay be able to get there, or will Zachias find and kill him before he can?
