A story about Starlight, the Alpha of the Moonlight pack, and his pack mates. This is my oldest story! I finished it in grade 5.

When a sarcastic forest cat named Midnight sneaks into a human girl's house, he doesn't expect to accidentally recruit the most anxious high-schooler on Earth into a magical mission. But the enchanted forest is dying. The magic fruit that keeps every creature alive is disappearing. And Midnight's team of talking animals - Hopper, Vixie, and Orion - can't stop it on their own. Charlotte doesn't think she's brave enough. Midnight doesn't think she's responsible enough. But the forest chose her. Together, they must survive glowing paths, sharp-vine barriers, mysterious creatures, and a growing danger that seems to be targeting Midnight himself... Charlotte thinks she's helping save a forest. Midnight knows she's doing much more than that. Because every talking animal in the forest - including him - is actually a cursed human. And if they fail... none of them will ever break the curse. A magical adventure full of humor, secrets, danger, and a twist that changes everything.

The story takes place on Elacto, not during the events of the Plague. I don't really know if I'll continue this story, but if I did it would have more chapters both before and after the current chapter.
