Testing and animals came hand and hand at a point. It still does. It's scary to think that's man's best friends has been and still is seen as nothing more than a lab rat.

This book is about animal testing in the United States. Particularly biomedical testing and what it is in terms of animal treatment. The truth may be different from what you have seen, but it is a truth that should be examined. Many hours of research went into this and I want to be posting a chapter a week with sources at the end. Animals weren't put on this earth for us to eat, neglect, use, or abuse. Yet, somehow, humans have taken them as if animals are their property. We as a human race have used animals for deadly and disgusting purposes. One of them is animal testing, both in the medical industry and beauty industry. The beauty industry and even the medical industry can be sick and cruel to bunnies, puppies, cats, monkeys, mice, and rats. It's not just mascara on a monkey, or lipstick on a rabbit. It's injections, it's painful burns, it's life spent miserably in a cage instead of rolling around in a field. It's so much more. And not only is it cruel, abusive, and painful, it's ineffective, too. Please read if you have an interest in the bettering of society.
