*based off the post-apocalyptic AU by Penn-dragon on tumblr* The world is a complete rotting mess. The only way people can survive the epidemic and food shortage is by A) joing The Demons-a group of individuals that basically rule the world-or B) Be killed and used as food BY The Demons. Sock is a Demon Scout. It is his job to go out and bring back survivors-ones who defiy The Demons-to be used as recruites, or dinner. Though he runs into a slight problem, known as the survivor Jonathan Combs. Jonathan is basically dying in three ways at the same time, but there is very little hope in his luck. Rumors of a safe place where disease can be terminated and there's food for everyone. Of course he belives that's just a myth. And to add to his problems? The fact that he's completely unaware of his Demon companian's tracking, leading the rest of the Demons, all the way to him. And the other survivors.
