The web of lies, murder, and conspiracy comes crashing down as everyone finally stands up to their darkest secrets, and it is up to their unlikely alliance to solve the puzzle and rid these monsters once and for all, that is, if they can survive shadow people, haunted animatronics, and oftentimes worst of all, each other. 26 Frights of Freddy, The Tangled Soul, is a series of 42 short stories written from the perspective of 27 different authors from the r/nosleep and r/fivenightsatfreddys subreddits. The stories' main path is told in alphabetical order by title, but, combined with the twisted side routes and detours included in the bonus stories, interweave to make a complete picture spanning several decades and many lifetimes, in what is currently the largest ongoing collaborative horror project in all of reddit.

The Icewing prince Iceberg was born with a magical gift that hasn't appeared in his royal family for years. He had the mysterious animus powers that were so rare in every tribe of Pyrrhia. He was taught since his very young age, that every animus dragon that ever appeared in the tribe had one big purpose in life - delivering a gift to the whole tribe, that would benefit everyone. A catch was, that this was the only spell that he could ever cast and when gifting the tribe, he had to give away his animus powers for good. As he slowly began to reach his seventh birthday, his Mother- Queen North- grew very impatient with his gifting ceremony. By the time an animus turned seven years old, he had to make his gift. But Iceberg never liked the idea of giving away this awesome magic, casting only one spell in his entire life. He wanted to explore his power and try helping everyone he could. Some things just don't go according to plan though and Iceberg has to face terrible twists that may deprive him of his own life.
