The series name is Pokémon Sword & Shield series which is a part of Ash continues timeline. Let's see what this fanfic show shall we?

Then he meets Liko. At first, Liko is just a quiet girl Avery happens to meet on the way to the academy. But after she receives a mysterious letter from her grandmother, a strange man begins following her-and Avery quickly realizes there's much more to Liko than meets the eye. With her Sprigatito by her side and a mysterious pendant around her neck, Liko finds herself caught in something much bigger than either of them expected. When Avery decides to help her escape, the two are thrown into an adventure that will take them far beyond the walls of Indigo Academy.
