Verillia, daughter of Dionysius, was never meant for peace. Born to a mortal mother whose mind was unraveled by madness, she was raised in the shadows of the Underworld by Persephone, who loved her as her own. Her father, a god of chaos and revelry, entrusted his daughter to the goddess when her mother's descent into madness left her unable to care for the child. Though she was sheltered in Persephone's care, the remnants of her divine lineage pulsed beneath her skin. In time, Verillia was sent to Camp Half-Blood, a place where halfbloods like her could find their place in the world. When Hera steals her memories, Verillia is left adrift-a shell of herself, with only the faintest whispers of a life she can no longer grasp, and stubborn voices lingering in her head. One moment, she's struggling with the fragments of her identity; the next, she finds herself on a bus with Jason, Piper, and Leo, caught in the swirl of a prophecy she doesn't remember and an adventure she never asked for. As she journeys alongside Leo, the bond between them grows, undeniable and fierce. Though she cannot remember their shared past, Verillia feels a pull-something ancient, something prophesied , deep in her heart. But the voices in her mind grow louder with every step, the vines of her lost memories twisting around her, threatening to unravel the fabric of her reality. Verillia must now reclaim the memories Hera stole, face the gods who try to control her, and confront a fate that seems to bind her and Leo together.
