Annabel, a 17 year old college student who dreams to become a student at Peking university, based in China but chooses Stanford university over her dream university. She meets new people as confusion and mystery awaits her- dean her friend seems to be in a mess which he claims innocent for,luckily she has friends ds to help alongside with her in finding the truth as things get more complicated. It all ends, the truth is being revealed proving dean innocent and an unexpected person behind it all. Dean and anna get closer as she has to stay in his house for the mean time due to some reason. Bonds grow stronger as dean eventually confesses his love to her but she declines after knowing his past and who he is. She decides leave his house but deans' unwavering love makes him persuade her in many ways until she agrees to stay. Charles- annabel's father is preparing a future arranged wedding without her consent. She refuses to her fathers' demand after realizing and disappointed at her mom and her sisters. Her father withholds the marriage later on everything seemed fine until her to- be- husband starts to distract with calls and messages. Dean notices and starts to think otherwise. She explained things to him but he seemed to misunderstood things until the day he showed up at his house-Leslie. He demanded for annabel but dean didn't let him in now believing her feels remorse for being cold hearted. He works things out with anna's parents and they got Leslie arrested. And now....everything was perfect, anna is free from being stalked, her and dean's relationship is amazing, school gets more fun, friends and family makes things better and dean never has to think about his past.

Annabel Elliston is weird and stupid,but what awaits her in a world where stupid idiots have no place? Harsh reality,mean people,nasty comments all come her way. Pain,heartache and lots of losses. But Annabel is brave and optimistic and She believes in the statement "Every cloud has a silver lining" But does the cloud that hovers over her really have a silver lining? Or is it just a common misconception? Well,Annabel is determined to live her life to the fullest!!
