    The Walt Disney Family Museum features a variety of galleries, exhibits, and educational opportunities that center around the man who created the Disney franchise. The museum has ten galleries that start with Disney's childhood and cover his move to Hollywood, Disneyland, and a remembrance section. The upcoming exhibit Mickey Mouse: From Walt to the World will debut on May 16, 2019lmand run through January 6, 2020. This exhibit will celebrate all things Mickey Mouse, from the character's creation to his influence within the entertainment and art worlds over nine decades. Visitors will be able to view over 400 items related to Mickey Mouse, including original artwork, antique photographs, and early and current animated short films. The debut of this exhibit coincides with the Disney museum's tenth anniversary.

    Educational opportunities at the museum include art and animation class series for visitors of all ages, as well as single workshops geared toward animation, innovation, and storytelling. Visitors can also enjoy Disney films in the museum's Fantasia-themed theater or talks given by Disney animators and Imagineers. The museum is open daily to visitors from 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. California Academy of Sciences The California Academy of Sciences houses several attractions under one roof sure to interest visitors of all ages. Offering an aquarium, a natural history museum, and a planetarium, the academy also boasts a 2.5-acre living roof. The venue is also home to various educational and research programs. The academy's featured exhibits include the Steinhart Aquarium, which has 40,000 species, and the Osher Rainforest, which is a four-level exhibit with butterflies and birds. The academy has several long-standing exhibits like the Philippine Coral Reef, the Human Odyssey, the Tusher African Hall, and the California Coast.
